The billion dollar golf industry employs people for positions such as director of marketing and communications, golf shop assistant, club fitter, starter or golf cart maintenance personnel among others.
But like any other specialized jobs, getting into a professional golf career starts with getting the relevant training and experience. There are specialized programs for different kinds of professional golf careers. There are even golf academies that offer short term courses in golf management.
An educational investment into golf training definitely means a sure return of investment. Professional golf careers are niche careers. There is yet no saturation of golf professionals in the current labor market.
