Health is wealth is a well known saying. The facts suggest otherwise and in today’s fast life which glorifies wealth, health definitely takes a backseat. Each day across print media and advertisements you will see wealth being glorified.Health being glorified is a rare phenomenon. In the pursuit of wealth people neglect health and that is why you will see incidence of heart attack,obesity and asthma in young generation.

Here are my tips to a healthy and fitter you. These tips will help you understand the importance of fitness and how you can incorporate that into your daily routine.

1) Health is wealth should be your mantra. This is tough to implement in today’s world but the earlier you understand it the better. Incorporate exercise hour into your daily routine the way you incorporate a hectic work day into your daily life. Make a plan for each day and stick to it.

2) Healthy mind is essential for a healthy body. That said make sure that you begin your day by relaxing your mind, body and soul. The best way to achieve is to do yoga for mental and physical health. Yoga is the best fitness mantra for you in the hectic lifestyle. Though recommended and used for ages now it is catching up fast a relaxation technique all across the world.

3) The way to man’s heart is through stomach is a well known fact. Change this statement to say that way to a healthy body is through stomach full of good food and not junk food. Falling prey to junk foods is easy but the consequences are very bad. So make sure that you have enough fruits and raw vegetables in your daily meals. Drink water as much as you can to get rid of the unwanted toxins in your body.

4) Play a sport over the weekends. Enroll in a club and play as sport. It does not matter which one. It is a great stress reliever and helps you get that fitness. The added advantage is that you get that social setting to interact with others also. It is precisely this reason that golf is a very popular game among CEO’s of companies. It helps them relax and unwind after the stress of managing the company.
